I am still thinking about my time at The Tranquility Retreat: Women, Writing, and Wellness. It was a beautiful, very real, and deeply successful weekend.

​

I was especially moved by how skillfully you led our group, and what a joy it was to watch you gently coax, invite, prompt, and draw out what lived inside each of us—inviting us to dig just a little bit deeper into ourselves.

Your wisdom, skill, ability, expertise, joy, knowledge, depth, and genuine care were present in every moment. You bring all of that, and so much more to the table.

I started working with Beverly over 15 years ago and her mentorship changed the course of my life. Her leadership and direction planted seeds of empowerment in me which continue to be an invaluable resource on my creative journey. Her gentle guidance, insightful wisdom, and authenticity establish deep trust and provide a powerful foundation for building self-confidence. Beverly works with you side by side, and her systems of accountability and support help you push through the underlying fear to manifest your personal goals. Beverly has had a profound effect on my growth as a person and as an artist. I have always been a seeker, and Beverly introduced me to tools I can easily use to help me. 

 

When she taught me the concepts of intuitive painting and free writing,  a whole new way of seeing opened for me. A portal of creativity that I had not known before was unlocked. It made both practices less about rules and structure and more about allowing the flow of ideas to build on each other.

 

Beverly has a gentle way of steering me to use my own strengths and abilities to view a situation or topic in a way that allows me to redirect the story.

 

I am a more creative, nurturing, and better at problem-solving now. She approaches coaching with a gentle, non-judgmental spirit and is quick to point out and celebrate my wins and breakthroughs.

In 2023, I found myself at a crossroads. The way I was thinking, feeling, and engaging with the world was no longer serving me, and I knew I needed to make a change. Coaching was a completely new experience, and Beverly helped me identify the behaviors that were holding me back while guiding me toward more positive, supportive habits. Although I’m still a work in progress, I’ve incorporated meaningful practices into my daily life—from journaling gratitude and affirmations to reading books that broaden my perspective. Navigating this journey would have been incredibly difficult without Beverly’s guidance, insight, and support.

I loved the vision board workshop. The experience was truly amazing, and it inspired me to want to gather a small group together to do it again. Not long after creating my first vision board, I adopted my puppy, who looks just like the one I had placed on my board. How amazing is that?

Sometimes God sprinkles just one more in when you think you have plenty. This friend is who many have heard me refer to as my friend/life coach of sorts. Though Beverly Keaton was referred to me by another friend to buy a house, I never knew how much wisdom someone could subtly plant until I had the opportunity to get to know her and begin using her professionally as well.

 

She has managed to slowly peel back the onion and help me find me which is saying a lot.
